Can I convert a notebook without installing Jupyter or LaTeX?
Yes. Open your saved .ipynb file in this converter, review the preview, and choose Save as PDF. Select the PDF destination in your browser’s print dialog. You don’t need a Python environment, Jupyter installation, or LaTeX installation.
Are my notebook files uploaded to a server?
No. Your notebook is read and converted on your device. There is no notebook upload or account requirement. The page loads rendering libraries from a CDN, and images linked to external websites in a notebook may load from those websites.
Will my code, charts, tables, and equations appear in the PDF?
The converter supports syntax-highlighted code, Markdown, LaTeX equations, tables, and saved image or text outputs in Jupyter notebook formats 3 and 4. It does not run your code, so execute your cells and save the notebook in Jupyter before converting. Interactive widgets need a saved static image or text representation.
Can I export the results without showing my code?
Yes. Turn off Code cells in the settings panel and leave Cell outputs on. You can also hide the document title and execution counts, and choose A4 or US Letter paper.
What’s the difference between the two PDF export options?
Save as PDF uses your browser’s print dialog to produce crisp, selectable text. Download directly creates an image-based PDF without a print dialog. For searchable text and smaller files, use Save as PDF.
